Learning and Growing with LPL – Olivia’s Story

Olivia Jones is a perfect example of the growth opportunities available at LPL. She began her journey with us at just 18, right after college, as an apprentice in our New Business Team. Now, six years later, Olivia has experience in multiple areas of the company, from handling her own caseload in the remortgage team to assisting in the post room. Currently, she’s back with the New Business Team, stepping in to support whilst another team member is on maternity leave.

“Starting with us as a Business Administration Apprentice some 6 years ago, Olivia has grown and developed through the training program to successfully manage her own remortgage caseload. Enjoying a recent move to help develop and strengthen our New Business Team; we are sure that her wider experience will be invaluable to ensure our onboarding client journey is the best it can be!” – Louise Stephens-Pantoja, Head of Operations at LPL

Olivia’s story showcases the way LPL empowers team members to build diverse skill sets. Through hands-on experience in different areas, apprentices and employees alike gain comprehensive knowledge of the conveyancing process, setting them up for success in future roles.

Why Choose an Apprenticeship or Career Path with LPL?

Starting your career as an apprentice or entry-level team member at LPL is more than just a job – it’s a launchpad for future opportunities. We recognise that every individual has unique skills, and our training programs are tailored to help you maximise your potential. From on-the-job training to formalised programs in conveyancing and business administration, we invest in our people because they’re our greatest asset.

Here’s what sets our training and development apart:

  • Guided Mentorship – At LPL, new hires are supported by experienced mentors who provide guidance and answer questions. This mentorship has been invaluable to team members like Olivia, who have benefited from direct interaction with leaders in different teams.
  • Diverse Learning Opportunities – LPL’s rotation across departments lets employees develop a deep understanding of conveyancing, from remortgages to new business processes. This exposure helps build well-rounded professionals who can tackle various aspects of client needs.
  • Structured Career Pathways – Our training programs are designed to take employees from entry-level positions to advanced roles. With regular feedback, goal setting, and support, many of our team members grow quickly within the company.

A Great Place to Work and Grow

LPL

In addition to career support, LPL has a strong culture of teamwork, family and friendship. Our teams often spend time together outside of work, sharing hobbies and building relationships.

As Olivia shares, her work-life balance allows her time to pursue her love for reading, socialising and even planning trips abroad. This balance is a critical part of why people thrive at LPL – they’re part of a supportive work environment that values personal fulfilment and professional success.
